Hello! I’m Murphy Hall, LCSW, LMSW. I believe therapy should be a space where you don’t have to hide parts of yourself in order to feel accepted, understood, or safe.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, identity exploration, personality disorders, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. Many of my clients are people who have spent years feeling misunderstood, stuck in painful patterns, carrying the weight of past experiences, or questioning whether they are “too much” or “not enough.” Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and begin responding to yourself with more compassion and understanding.

I am passionate about providing LGBTQIA+ affirming and inclusive care. I strive to create a space where clients can show up authentically without fear of judgment, whether they are exploring identity, navigating relationships, processing trauma, or learning to reconnect with themselves after years of masking, survival, or self-criticism.

My approach is collaborative, warm, and trauma-informed. I recognize that many coping strategies and patterns developed for a reason, even when they no longer feel helpful. Rather than focusing on shame or “fixing” you, I work alongside clients to better understand the underlying emotions, experiences, and nervous system responses shaping their lives. I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual, helping clients build coping skills, strengthen emotional awareness, improve relationships, and develop a greater sense of self-trust and stability.

I have a special interest in working with individuals experiencing OCD and personality disorders, including those who may feel emotionally sensitive, struggle with fear of abandonment or rejection, experience intense emotions, or feel caught in cycles they cannot seem to break. I aim to provide a therapeutic space that is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and grounded in genuine human connection.

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You deserve support exactly as you are.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy to clients in Indiana and Michigan.
