Telehealth Individual Therapy in Indiana, Michigan & New Jersey
Therapy shouldn’t feel one-size-fits-all.
I believe effective therapy starts with understanding you—your experiences, identities, relationships, strengths, patterns, and what you hope will be different. Rather than expecting you to fit into a particular therapeutic approach, I draw from multiple evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to create treatment that is individualized to your needs.
My style is collaborative, affirming, and genuine. We’ll make space for the difficult things while also building practical skills, identifying patterns, challenging the beliefs that keep you stuck, and helping you move toward a life that feels more authentic and meaningful to you.
Areas I Work With
I especially enjoy working with people who have felt misunderstood, stigmatized, or like they are “too much” for traditional therapy.
Areas of focus include:
- LGBTQIA+ identities and experiences — including gender identity, sexuality, coming out, internalized shame, relationships, family dynamics, religious experiences, and navigating authenticity and safety
- Trauma and relational trauma — including sexual, physical, and emotional trauma; narcissistic abuse; coercive or controlling relationships; religious trauma; birth trauma; financial abuse; and other experiences that continue to affect how you see yourself, others, or the world
- Personality disorders — including Borderline, Avoidant, Obsessive-Compulsive, Histrionic, Dependent, Paranoid, Narcissistic, and other personality-related concerns, approached without judgment or stigma
You do not need to have a diagnosis—or know exactly what you’re wanting to work on—to reach out for therapy.
My Approach to Therapy
Because no single approach works for everyone, treatment is tailored to your individual needs. Depending on what brings you to therapy, I may incorporate:
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
- Prolonged Exposure (PE)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
- Somatic approaches
- Sex therapy
- Trauma-informed and affirming approaches
- Other evidence-based interventions based on your needs and goals
We’ll talk about what we’re doing and why. Therapy is something we do together, and you’re encouraged to ask questions, give feedback, and be an active participant in your treatment.

Don’t see your insurance listed?
Insurance networks can be surprisingly complicated, and your plan may be covered through one of the networks or third-party administrators I participate with even if the name on your insurance card isn’t listed above. Contact me with your insurance information and I can help determine whether I am in-network with your specific plan.
Insurance coverage and benefits vary by individual plan. Being affiliated with an insurance company or network does not guarantee that every plan offered by that company is in-network or that services will be covered. I recommend verifying your behavioral health benefits before beginning services.vices.
Private Pay: $115 per 53+ minute individual therapy session.
Reduced-Fee & Community Access
I believe finances shouldn’t automatically prevent someone from accessing mental health care.
I participate with Open Path Collective, which helps connect individuals with therapists offering reduced-fee sessions. Eligibility and additional information are available through Open Path Collective.
Grounded Growth is also proud to partner with local nonprofit organizations to help provide therapy services to individuals who experience barriers to accessing the mental health system.
For questions about reduced-fee or community partnership options, please contact me.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision is available for social workers seeking support as they develop their clinical skills and work toward independent clinical licensure.
Supervision is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in the realities of clinical practice. Sessions may include reviewing cases, exploring treatment planning and diagnostic considerations, navigating ethical dilemmas, developing clinical judgment, strengthening therapeutic skills, and supporting your growth and confidence as a clinician.
I especially enjoy working with clinicians who want to deepen their skills in areas such as personality disorders, trauma, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, complex relational dynamics, emotion regulation, and working with clients who may have been historically stigmatized or misunderstood within mental health settings.
Supervisees are expected to come prepared with cases, questions, or topics they would like to explore; attend supervision consistently; and remain open to reflection, feedback, and continued professional growth. My goal is to create a space where you can ask questions, think critically, acknowledge what you don’t know yet, and develop your own identity as a clinician.
Clinical Supervision
- Individual, virtual supervision
- Weekly sessions
- $50 per week
- Supervision requirements and eligibility are reviewed prior to beginning services to ensure the arrangement is appropriate for your licensure needs.
Clinical Consultation
You don’t have to be working toward licensure to benefit from having another clinician in the room.
Clinical consultation is available for mental health professionals who are independently licensed or otherwise do not require formal clinical supervision but would like a collaborative space to think through challenging cases, clinical questions, or areas of professional growth.
Consultation may be helpful when you’re feeling stuck with a case, questioning how to conceptualize what you’re seeing, navigating complicated relational dynamics, considering different treatment approaches, or simply wanting another clinician’s perspective.
Areas of particular interest include:
- Borderline Personality Disorder and other personality disorders
- Complex or highly stigmatized clinical presentations
- Trauma and relational trauma
- Narcissistic abuse, coercive control, and unhealthy relationship dynamics
- LGBTQIA+ affirming care
- Gender identity and internalized queerphobia
- Shame, perfectionism, and self-worth
- Emotion regulation and distress tolerance
- Therapeutic boundaries and challenging relational dynamics
- Case conceptualization and treatment planning
- Therapist reactions, uncertainty, and feeling “stuck” in the therapy room
Consultation is collaborative rather than evaluative. It is not a substitute for required clinical supervision and does not establish a supervisor-supervisee relationship.
Clinical Consultation
- Individual
- Virtual
- Available for one-time consultations or ongoing support
